Full Mouth Reconstruction

Damaged smiles require specialized care.  Full mouth reconstruction repairs smiles that have been damaged due to trauma or are simply damaged due to poor dental care or to malocclusion.

Teeth that are worn or damaged can result in stress on the muscles and joints during function.  This stress can lead to the pain and discomfort associated with temporomandibular disorders as well as leading to increased wear and tear, creating a cycle of dysfunction and deteriorating oral health

Dr. Manji’s specialized training in aesthetic techniques and neuromuscular dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) makes him uniquely qualified to develop a treatment plan specifically for you.  Your smile may need general and preventive care, cosmetic and/or restorative treatment, even replacement teeth.  A comprehensive full mouth reconstruction will renew oral comfort, function, and appearance.

Utilizing the principles of neuromuscular dentistry Dr. Manji is able to determine the problems with your current occlusion and determine the new optimum occlusal position for your new smile.   This process , along with subsequent adjustments,  uses specialized diagnostic instrumentation such as:

  • K-7: This equipment records muscle activity, jaw position, and joint sound.
  • TENS: (Transcutaneous Electrical Neural Stimulation.) This device allows us to relax the muscle in order to find a more ideal position of the mandible.

A distinct advantage of this process is that by wearing a custom orthotic or mouth guard, the optimal jaw position is determined and verified before any teeth are altered. Our aim is to restore a healthy and optimally functioning environment for any restorative or cosmetic work that must be done. This ensures longevity for your results and protects valuable cosmetic work.
