I've had the good fortune of having Today's Dental and Dr Manji as my dentist for quite some time now and not once over the decades have I ever considered looking for another dentist. The entire team there are beyond top notch. From the moment you arrive and are greeted through whatever your treatment needs to be on any given day to the administrative pieces (like submitting your claim to your benefits provider) they go out of there way to make things as easy for you as possible. Add to that Dr Manji and his teams obvious actual passion for dentistry - and you are truly getting world class service. For years Dr Manji and team have worked diligently to stay on top of emerging dental practices advances in technology but also customer service. They always are willing to take the time to explain to you in language you can understand what is going on your options - never rushed and definitely no pressure. Truly a remarkable Dental practice full of amazing people.

Had to get a filling repaired and a wire bonded. Met Dr. Alex for the first time today and he was fantastic. This place is just top-notch from start to finish. The staff are unbelievably kind and professional. Dr. Alex and the assistant outlined everything they were about to do step-by-step before they did it as a means of preparing the patient. I’m not usually uncomfortable at the dentist but I just imagined being a patient who gets uneasy and how comfortable this would make me if I were someone that hated going to get work done. The assistant was also impeccably prepared and had the dentist’s tools ready to go at every step. These people are the best I’ve ever experienced. They use the most current tools software and practice when getting treatment or a cleaning. They also do the most in-depth screening for abnormalities in the mouth glands and neck. Overall a great experience.

Great experience again at Todays Dental… My old crown popped off thinking they would just put it back on well that wasn’t the case. It turns out my tooth showed signs of some decay therefore removing the old filling and putting in a new filling and working their magic on the tooth as well… Then they did the impressions for the temporary crown. Dr. Sozstak and Heather were so kind and gentle as they all know my fear of dental procedures haha…. Dr. Sozstak called to check on me after this to make sure everything was going well..so caring. Today I returned for the permanent crown and again Dr.Sozstak was amazing along with Sherry they worked so well together to keep me comfortable and pain free and before you know it all was said and done.. They are truly the best and most caring thank you Dr.Sozstak and Sherry for the great experience.. Please check out Today’s Dental …

I wish I could give 100 stars. This was hands down the best dentist (and AHS) experience ever. They all treated me like a long lost friend. Each person introduced themselves with their names they wrote me a handwritten welcome note in my "room" they laughed and joked with me like I was a long lost friend yet they also were professional they offered fidget items responded immediately and gently when I had a fear reaction never made me feel like they thought I was annoying for needing time and reassurance; I could go on. Even a customer in the waiting area greeted me welcomed me when I said it was my first time there and gave me assurances due to her own previous experiences. The interior is comfortable and spa-like in places the lighting and scents are comfortable and I felt very at ease. Wow! Absolutely my dentist for life.

I’ve been going to Today’s Dental since I was little and the experience has always been supportive and professional. At this point they are like family. I would highly recommend them for your dental needs and have referred them to many before. Whether you are completely comfortable at the dentist or have dental anxiety - they have your back! I had always seen Dr. Manji and was nervous to hear he was transitioning into well deserved retirement and my last experience was with Dr. Szostak and she’s incredible! She even called to check and see how I was doing afterwards. The hygienists and dental assistants are always attentive and want to make sure you are well taken care of (and they are full of fun too!!). Thanks team for all your care and support - highly recommend them if you are looking for quality dental care!

Went in for a cleaning with Daniella and like always it was wonderful! If only the sound of the drill next door could go away!!! lol!!! I’m not sure how many years I’ve been coming to see Daniella but I’m amazed at all the details of my life that she remembers that are not in her patient notes. It’s like visiting with a friend you only get to catch up with a couple of times a year! Of course her work on my teeth is excellent as always!! My teeth feel so amazingly clean that as I drive away I think I never want to eat again so I don’t lose that wonderful clean feeling! But of course I do and I come back in 6 months so she can make them feel that way again! She’s the best the best for me!!!

My dental hygienist Sabrina is a riot. My time having my mouth examined and cleaned is not intrusive or uncomfortable rather it feels like catching up with an old friend over a lot of laughs. She is super efficient witty and a true professional. Dr. Manji my dentist is wonderful. He takes the time to visit with you gives you feedback on your oral hygiene and what I can do to proactively improve it! Robyn who is the first face you see is just a wonderful human being! She cares so much about making your visit comfortable and enjoyable. The staff there is first class!

The entire team truly goes above and beyond to make us feel like part of their family. My two young boys actually look forward to their dental appointments which speaks volumes about their welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I love Today's Dental (for a couple of reasons)... I am very nervous at the dentist and once I switched to Today's Dental all that anxiety disappeared. Everyone is so very attentive and so kind. The last time I went in we were laughing so much at the jokes that the time flew by! My daughter is autistic and has had issues with previous dentists and doctors. But she loves this place! Everyone makes her feel so comfortable and is so friendly that she has no problems with going to the dentist now! I highly recommend this place!!

I will forever be a loyal client to today’s dental. The entire staff is extremely friendly flexible and so compassionate. I had SEVERE dental anxiety 2 years ago and they have truly cured me. I spent 4 hours in the chair today for a really unfortunate infection and Dr. S and Sheri were so kind and compassionate and caring the entire time. They are so great with my anxiety take time to explain things and ask questions and are completely non judgemental. I consider them family at this point as they take such good care of me.

Dr Noor-Allah Manji

General Dentist

Dr. Manji graduated in 1982 from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry. He has been practicing in Edmonton since 1982. He has accumulated over 2000 hours of advanced Continuing Education over the years. He has studied advanced cosmetic/aesthetic and restorative techniques, implant placement, Invisalign and many other procedures. He has also taken extensive courses in Neuromuscular Dentistry, that helps relieve head and neck pain, and TMJ pain that could be due to a “bad bite” that does not fit together well. He has also taken Hands-on Courses in Smile Makeovers/Transformations where he actually treated patients to learn the advanced techniques.
Dr Alex Dalla Lana

General Dentist

Dr. Alex Dalla Lana was born and raised in interior British Columbia. He moved to Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta, where he earned his Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees.

During his time at the University of Alberta, he completed clinical rotations in under-serviced communities in La Crete and McLennan, Alberta. Additionally, he went on a mission trip to Peru to provide dental care to communities with limited access to dental services.

He also volunteered at the SHINE clinic, offering free care to patients in inner city Edmonton. Outside of work, Dr. Alex enjoys spending time with his rescue dog at one of the city's many dog parks. You might also find him at a rock-climbing center, where he climbs with his wife and allows his dog to socialize and make new friends.
Dr Nandini Mehta

General Dentist

Dr. Nandini Mehta is a dedicated general dentist known for her calm, patient centred approach and commitment to high quality care. She focuses on creating a comfortable, positive experience where patients feel at ease and well informed.

She holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from India. Dr. Mehta offers a full range of dental services, including restorative care, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, Invisalign, surgical extractions, and preventive dentistry, with an emphasis on precision and long term oral health. She is passionate about continuing education and is currently advancing her training through KOIS courses.

She has a special interest in helping anxious patients feel comfortable through gentle care and clear communication, and has volunteered with several underserved communities. Outside the clinic, she enjoys travelling, hosting friends, playing board games, and catching Edmonton Oilers games.
